I’m Sujatha, an Integrative Psychotherapist and Mindfulness Coach. My journey into therapy was inspired by my own transformative experiences, alongside a long career in global Human Resources across India, North America, and England. During that time, I saw how unresolved emotional patterns and cultural expectations can quietly affect every part of life—from relationships and self-worth to purpose and identity.
Born in India and having lived in England for many years, I understand the layered experience of navigating multiple cultural identities. Balancing differing expectations within families, communities, or workplaces can be emotionally exhausting and isolating. These experiences inform my culturally sensitive, trauma-informed approach, helping clients navigate identity transitions, intergenerational dynamics, and the emotional labor of being “in between” cultures.
I provide a warm, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore life’s challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with their authentic selves. Whether you’re facing anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, or the lingering effects of childhood experiences, therapy can provide insight, clarity, and renewed perspective. I also offer sessions in English, Tamil, Hindi, and Marathi, honoring the healing power of speaking in the language that feels most natural.
Through my coaching practice, I combine therapeutic insight with professional experience, supporting clients in aligning their personal wellbeing with professional goals, exploring unconscious patterns, and unlocking their potential. My approach is rooted in client-led discovery, helping you cultivate clarity, resilience, and authentic success while being truly seen, understood, and supported.
As part of the Pscyo Social Services team, I provide counselling and conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals, couples, and families, including those who are bereaved or receiving hospice support. Based on these assessments, I determine the most appropriate course of action, which may include ongoing counselling sessions or referrals to specialist services. Within the multi-disciplinary team, I contribute to assessment processes, offer guidance and signposting, and support the development of resources, groups, and events for children and families.
I completed my placement training at Care2Talk, a counselling agency supporting victims of domestic abuse and violence, and I continue to volunteer with them, providing ongoing counselling support to clients. This experience has strengthened my skills in trauma, informed practice, particularly in supporting individuals through complex emotional and relational challenges.
I worked as a Play Therapist with children aged 5–12, providing a safe, child-led space for emotional expression, coping skill development, and resilience-building. This role allowed me to support children navigating social, emotional, and developmental challenges in a school setting, helping them communicate, process feelings, and build confidence through play.
Alongside my other roles, I have worked as a Couples Therapist at Relate West Surrey, supporting couples experiencing relational distress, communication difficulties, conflict, and life transitions. This included working with multicultural couples presenting with a wide range of diverse relational, cultural, and identity-related issues. This role enhanced my experience in working with relationship dynamics, attachment patterns, and emotionally focused interventions, while maintaining a balanced, neutral, and culturally sensitive therapeutic stance.
As an integratively trained psychotherapist, I offer support to individuals, couples, and children across a wide range of emotional, relational, and life-stage challenges. My practice is grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and respect for your unique story. Whether you're seeking help for past trauma, relationship difficulties, or navigating a major life change, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore and move toward healing, clarity, and growth.
I work one-to-one with adults on a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges, including:
I offer a warm, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. I provide a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental space to explore these issues together, helping couples and partners understand each other better, heal past hurts, and build stronger, more connected relationships.
I provide developmentally attuned therapy for children and adolescents, supporting them through emotional, social, and relational challenges, including:
My approach is tailored to each child or young person’s developmental stage, temperament, and individual needs. I create a safe, supportive space where they can explore their feelings, build resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies for both current challenges and long-term emotional wellbeing.
I believe therapy is never one-size-fits-all. Each person brings their own story, values, and way of seeing the world. That’s why I take an integrative approach, blending CBT, psychodynamic, and humanistic methods with Sandplay Therapy, mindfulness, and coaching when appropriate.
At the heart of my work is listening deeply and being fully present. I aim to understand your experiences, feelings, and patterns shaping your life. Together, we explore these patterns, develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others, and move toward a more connected, empowered, and fulfilling life.
